fill a balloon half way with air and half with flower.Build a sabot and launch it out of a 2" barrel. There you go,semi reusable and simple. If it does hit someone it will pop.And also,be careful with flower, that stuff can REALLY mess up your lungs if inhaled.

Orpackrat agreed...my only problems now are:

1)cant get the tube
2) After watching the videos, the grenade sprays like pee.I need something that makes a cloud.
3) The above all show paintball grenades.

The tube can be bought online or at hardware or fishing stores

I use a special tubing for paintball grenades, regular latex tubing does not spray as much and I believe it would work (will try soon)

I have test fired some overfilled grenades (no room for expansion) in my cannon, left the pin in place so the grenade could not go off in the proper manner. Upon impact the grenade exploded with a nice pop.

Seal both ends of the grenade for firing out of a cannon and the impact should cause the tubing to burst with good sound and dispersion (high pressure burst).

Heres how to make the washer type ones courtesy of the Special Ops Paintball Forum. Or you could take some pieces of paper and fold them into a ball, fill with flour and tape closed. Should burst on impact. I think some testing is in order.

I'm not a fisherman but I believe it is used for making bait, they usually have several sizes to choose from. I'll clean out one of my old fill stations and test it with flour.

Last I heard, flamerz has yet to make a spudgun... and thus should NOT be telling us what will and what will not survive launch.

Folded paper, provided it's folded well and taped properly, probably has a good chance of surviving.
Balloons (especially small ones), although probably hard to fill... would probably work well. And I know they survive launch.

Just don't get your expectations up. You will be delivering a small payload of ineffective ineffective particles, and won't be dispersing them well.

From my experience folded and taped paper does not survive too well unless there is a soft yet firm seal behind it to cushion and provide even pressure while accerating. I have never had a folded paper and taped projectile survive a launch unless it was duct taped so it would stay completely intact upon impact.

Ballons, (with a paper wrap to provide little friction against barrel) with my cannons don't survive any launches except one (had about a foot of loosely packed paper towels to help cushion the rapid acceration).

Please be aware that this is my experience and also know the cannons I have are a bit different than most cannons here simply because they operate on unregulated Co2 with around 800+ PSI and ball valve. The folded paper and ballons don't work with my launchers but it could be the fact that I am using around 8 times the normal operation pressure of pneumatic PVC cannon.
