well all the guns that i have managed to get for $5 or less (the price lukemc specified) have really short metal barrels, similar in length to those of mini's, or plastic ones, in fact i have a gun i got for $10 right next to me and it happens to have a plastic barrel, <a href="http://www.hobbytron.com/AirsoftAssault ... ">heres</a> a link to it, i bought mine used a few years ago thats why it was only $10

yes i just happen to.. its a 3 part segmented plastic barrel. i only have two in these pictures becuase the last one is stuck in the other part of the gun

still, thats a viable option for a cheap barrel...........
i jsut didnt know they actually made them..........
