oh i "find" peices of PVC all the time... i live in a new estate and when the houses are finished the builders just throw all the unused PVC/copper/electricle cable/timber/fittings away, and i ride my bike around and take what i like at night, its awesome as. the best find ive found from hardgarbage is a 50cc motorbike which only needed new sparkplugs

I dont see why you needed to say "find" with the quotes, that implies take, and dumpster diving is perfectly legal.
Nice find on the dirt bile though, those are quite fun!

I got to dumpster diving (literally) for my retainer in 4th grade because I accidentally threw it away.....
I found a 20' stick of 8" Sch 40, rated to 160 psi @ 73 degrees F about a year ago that I'm trying to get rid of. If anyone wants some I'll sell it for like $5 (probably less, but I can't think of a nice number) a foot, but there's no way in hell I'll pay the shipping.
Oh, I don't know if you guys know, but soccer balls fit perfectly in it.

actually dumpster diving is illegal. its someones property until it makes it to the dump, then its theirs. it sucks, all the builders where i live have cameras on the job sites because of "dumpster divers." haha no more free stuff for me...

Yeah, our building sites have guards with fat batons
LOL, one person distracts the guard, whilst the other "borrows-on-a-non-return-basis"

building sites I don't know, I think that implies that their going to use the stuff they lay out, I've gone with the abandon site, and a middle school thats a practically next to my house has a spot where they throw out all their stuff its usually not useful to me most of it is damaged chairs and tables but at least i get wood pieces and dowels from the abandon tech ed projects
well I got my regulator and now I have to get rid of the grill cause I doubt my friends parents like being stuck with a trash grill because of me

scrap the grill for aluminum. You get like, at least $.50 a pound. Then just bend the steel frame up and throw it in the trash. Hell, I used to just wheel the entire cart to the curb and let the trash people take it, or whoever picks it up for scrap steel. That was before the days of the automated pickup though.

We have one of those in our neighborhood too, I found a thick walled safe and some cool furniture. Both of which I used to test explosives, the safe actually surviving.
I buried the safe in my yard and decide to randomly blow stuff up in it. That is until I found out that I buried it right next to the gas line...
