That does happen occasionally but mine still leaks either way...

paayian, that's a nice generic shiny aluminum brass eagle avenger in the background. I got it (with accessoiries) for $20 USD

I'm gonna take the qev apart today and see if I can find anything in there. (It's a Deltrol)

I am aware that I have a china flag on my floor, and here's how I ended up with it. There was some big global rosary shennigag at a staduim near me, with people repesenting lots of countries and stuff, so every country had a flag. We boy scout troop helped clean up, so they let us have the flags. I took china just for the heck of it. I think I recall we played capture the flag with the Ireland flag and the New Zealand flag...

Spudthug, my problem is that it leaks when the pump is still connected. I think it's because my pump presses that little button thingy on the schrader and pilots it a little. It seems to only leak when I'm not pumping...

jsr, you will never succeed! Our feet will come to haunt you, steal your girl, and kick your dog!

I think I'll make a shoe-baliber launcher next :p

If feet like that could steal my girl, then good lord she wasn't worth it in the first place!

Can I join too?

We need a moderator on our side - so they can take any photos like that, and crop the feet out, then put the photo back, of course now devoid of feet.
spudyeti wrote:*def of sniper: a gun that ISNT semi auto... but still sounds cool....
Actually the definition of "sniper" is a member of the armed forces who specialises in long range marksmanship.

And if you really meant "sniper rifle" - what about the Eastern bloc Dragunov rifles?
Those are semi-auto. :P

Just playing with you - I know what you meant... sort of.

Good point, though with its thin flimsy barrel and relatively poor accuracy, the Dragunov is more of a designated marksman rifle - a true semi-auto sniper would be something like the HK PSG-1 or the KAC SR-25

Ban teh feets, I say! pah!

Agh! I knew that! The names just completely escaped me when I was posting, so I went with what I could remember.

But IIRC (which I may well not), the Dragunov was definately a leader in semi-auto for "sniper rifles". When it was produced, a large majority of other weapons in the general "marksman" field were bolt action, were they not?

The Dragunov wasn't really made for true "one shot one kill" snipers, it's more for engaging multiple targets at closer ranges but beyond the effective range of the average soldier's assault rifle. It's certainly not as accurate as a true bolt-action sniper, but for its intended function, semi-auto firepower is more important. The same principle applies to the Galil sniper rifle built on the AK action. It is possible to make a semi-auto sniper as accurate as a bolt action rifle, but producing it would be terribly expensive, not something a Soviet government would be keen on, so like many things Russian, the Dragunov is a compromise, but a compromise that works.
