If it's a mauler valve he's using then I presume the seal should be fairly decent - lessen the dead space, you'll certainly notice the differenceiPaintball wrote:The seal on your piston can't be to good if it takes that long to fire though.

Well I took it up to higher pressures today, around 40 and it has much less wait, only a fraction of a second.

The barrel always falls off, I just need to glue it in. But I don't want to have to wait 24 hours for the next shooting (glue dry time) so it might be a little while...

You know, you don't need to wait for the barrel to cure, because it doesn't need to hold high pressures for a prolonged period. Just wait an hour or two

Yeah, but I'd rather just leave it for longer and be safe and have a strong stick. Very nice cannon though. I guess the next cannons on its way then.....?You know, you don't need to wait for the barrel to cure, because it doesn't need to hold high pressures for a prolonged period. Just wait an hour or two

I've got it. If I glue it at 6:00 have dinner and go to bed, then sleep in till 12:00, then have a fat 18 hours of cure time. I think thats plenty.
and also, I had so much fun with this thing yesterday, i just need to make another, though maybe in a month or two. I was thinking something more portable, something like a small copper, but do you need welding tools to make a copper gun?

That sounds like an awesome plan, hope it workedI've got it. If I glue it at 6:00 have dinner and go to bed, then sleep in till 12:00, then have a fat 18 hours of cure time
For the copper gun, you need a blow torch to solder the joints, but it sounds like a cool idea.
