Do you think I build an semi auto all metal paintball gun, or all metal BB rifle? Tough choice hey!
I say this because BB gun would be fun and less expensive possibly.
Paintball would be a challenge and I could use it to play.

I hate decisions!

For interchangeable barrels you could drill out a bunch of endcaps or something, and adjust the ID of them to fit around different sized barrels. So then they could all fit into the same stock. If you had access to a lathe this would be really easy. Otherwise, it may take a little work to get them all drilled perfectly centered. To make changing barrels faster, you could use camlock fittings or modified air tool quick disconnects and just have the barrels slide in a piece of pipe or something, which could also be drilled and tapped for sights.

i crimped it a little bit at the very end with plyers..

well my compressor broke..with my pump i run it at 200 psi..

Thats not too bad, but whe I times the price by 7.5 to get Rands, it kind of sucks!
I am now planning (final planned last night/ last 2 months!) an all metal paintball gun for my main attention and a smaller BB rifle (starting planning soon) on the side line.

Reading your posts, I get the impression you're getting up and bouncing round the room in between each word you type.
I'm certain that isn't the case, but if you could be a bit calmer in your posting, you'll certainly get a better response.

That said, you don't need brakeline in the UK. We have a wonderful thing called 8mm copper. (8mm is the OD, not the ID)
Making sure you get a semi-rigid 1mm wall variety, you have a perfect 6mm BB barrel.

With a few other components, such a launcher as this is pretty easy to make.
Not that I am in anyway getting at spudthug in saying that - there is an excellent job done there.

Nice gun. I'd like to see the pics! Do you have any problem with the barrel being flimsy? I'm thinking about making a bb sniper, and I'm planning on trying to shroud my barrel, so I was wondering how well they hold up w/o a shroud.

So whats happened to the videos spudthug?

Skywalker: Why not sleeve the copper into a larger tube and center it with an end cap? It would look cooler, and be more sturdy. Plus then you could bed it in a wood stock and it would look sweet. Plus the area between the barrel and pipe you sleeve it in could possibly be used to store BBs? The barrel would probably hold up, but it would be best to have it kinda clamped down on a stock to keep it from getting banged around.

Try this:

Adding a barrel support system so that the entire weight of the barrel isn't on that one fitting would be a good idea.

Other than that, extremely nice! Very few guns on this forum I think deserve to be called a "sniper" (especially ones with smoothbore barrels) but I think this one classifies.
