Yeah down here in Texas we can have one in school if the blade aint loget than your palm is wide. So big hands=bid knife. and ive been carrying one for 5 years now.(going into grade 12) and it has been very useful in shop class.

Thats a nice SOG dude, good price also. i dont leave the house without my lockblade, usually i carry 2 knives. i use them every single day for this or that let alone its a defensive weapon. as a matter of fact i almost used it on a dog attacking my wife at the neighbors house a couple days ago but it ran off when i charged it. the serrated blade area can be a nuisance but its more handy than not having one, it will cut through alot.
wish it was legal to carry my m7 bayonet!

looks good but of dubious practicality really
I always have my Leatherman Charge xti with me
A veritable toolbox in your pocket which I always find a use for, whether it's building spudguns, DIY around the house, out camping or at work
