New Zealand's trademe, most sellers will ship to Aussie, $40 for 1000 metal 6mm BB's isn't too bad, remember you can get paintballs of trademe as well and we have no age limit here in NZ for paintballs or BB's so just get them shipped over.

Aren't BB bullets illegal in Aus?

Yeah but they're not in New Zealand, same with paintballs, So buy them of http://www.trademe.co.nz which is like a New Zealand Auction site like eBay, then get the seller to ship them to you in Australia.

wont customs steal them?

Customs shouldn't give a sh|t. I thought you can have them if your over 18 or have a licence or something, I know people have got paintballs from NZ through customs before, might depend on who is checking it but I doubt they will confiscate them.

LoL just have your forwarding address under the name of a "real" engineering firm.

i.e Marco Pneumatic Systems Manufacture inc.

Not a real good idea if they decide to check if your business actually exists though xD

lol yeah, I'm gonna look for a local supply for them. Thanks anyway

EDIT: Paintballs aren't illegal, BB guns are

No paint balls are illegal unless you have a valid reason to possess them. Well in QLD anyway. The rules at my local paint field are as follows: you can buy as much as you want, but unless your a member with a licence, you must surrender the remaining ammo and get reinbursted (sp?) for them.

yeah, what integral said is correct for me in NSW as well, but no legal reason justifies owning BB bullets or a BB gun.

BB gun... perhaps not. But Ball Bearings of course you do. I've seen steel ball bearings been used in sliding windows and door systems not to mention your skate board wheels and such.

Yeah i know that. But what i mean was the site i was pointed to sold them as BB bullets not as bearings.
