Is the barrel sleeved in something else? The barrel looks silver... What do you mean by "...after I mailed it..."?

by 'after he mailed it' he means after he mailed me some of the 9/32" brass brakeline. because no harware or auto stores near me carry it.

I had it lying around, he wanted it, so I mailed it to him (not for free). Then I realized I needed it. It's $5 for the brakeline, $2 for shipping, and $4 for a mailing tube, unless you want me to make one (you should post pics of the tube, Redneck).

would you recomend a piston or diaphram valve for a bbgun? i think the phram would actuate better

id reccomend a diaphram. diaphrams open faster but give less flow.
however, a 5 foot long tube with a 6.04mm ID isnt going to have much flow either.........
for cannons with barrels under 3/4 inch, i always use a phram. the extra flow gained isnt worth it.

How are you going to find rubber that's flexible enough for a 1/2" chamber, but can also hold 400 psi? Maybe you can, but I didn't want to waste time and money trying.
A well made diaphragm valve gives about 90% of the flow that a piston does, and opens more than twice as fast using the same pilot valve. They are also much easier to make. I use them in pretty much any barrel sealer. I've only made 2 or 3 pistons, compared to around 10 diaphragms.

well the reason i was going to go for the 'phram is that i wanted to use a blowgun to actuate it. but you seem to be able to to it, so I may try a piston.
