Okay, your parents let you build monster combustions and hybrids, but they won't let you buy an airsoft gun?

Yep. Not even a 10 dollar spring pistol.
They also claim that the maximum mixture that I'm supposed to use in any and all of my hybrids is 3x/3 atm.

What they don't know can't hurt them though, eh?
Try to keep this on topic guys, you can ask me about random (annoying) rules on AIM or something.

i added more detailed pics of the gun in my original post.
i melted the aluminum with propane and a special melter i made. and the handles are wood. the handle mounts are flattened 3" pvc sheet i made from pipe.

wow, i would love to set something that is an exact replica of this up by our flag, but my crew would become angry. they already get pissed off when i shoot them with my 370 fps 25 rps M16, i would imagine this thing could get more than 370 fps with a .20 gram bb wouldn't it?

Thats a nice gun it really does look like an M2.Only problem with bbmgs is no recoil.(or enough to make you feel in the zone.)YOu should try mounting that on a car or something and do a drive by n a cardbord box.(meh it would be fun).
What is your max range?

i have a bud that has a crony so im going to ask him if we can get together and figure out the fps. as far as distance i havent tried that yet but i'm planning on it. at the moment i only have 12 g bb's which wont travel far but getting 20's prolly this weekend.
btw i would like to see it defending a base but is something custom like this allowed in a tourny?
if anyone is interested im going to use a cad program to make detailed and printable templates of the small parts such as the grip brackets which are flattened 3" pvc.

an official tourney, probably not. maybe if you got a consistant velocity and had some sort of regulated CO2 feeding into a larger pressure container a recreational tournament would allow it. i was jsut imagineing the supressive fire i could lay down while defending the flag, literally a stream of bbs

This is thing is awesome! How much were all the parts if you don't mind me asking?

i think it cost about $40 u.s. without the tripod or ammo can. i gathered a couple pieces here and there over a 2 or 3 month period.

Wow, when I get the time and money I am definitely going to build one of these.

Wow!!!, Ive only just seen this! fantastic work there SPUDDIN 8) I bet it uses up air like nothing else though? I would build one like that myself if they were'nt highly illegal here in Australia. It would be to hard for me to hide that sucker over here

I would be very intrested in finding out the velocity of this.
I wish I could finish my own projects!: ive got a 6mm pump action thats ive worked on for ages! and an inline ive never finished either( sigh) its a real pain to get the right parts here though so I get put off............
