WHat Type of Cannon should i build.
It's THE most powerful fuel you can use, and will give the best performance. It runs the risk of blowing up the gun, but he will be at a farm and can remote fire.
I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.

There are more powerful (but more rare and exotic) gases you can use. Acetylene is just a lot more common.

Ok, most powerful the average person can obtain. I guess pure hydrogen would be more powerful, and is easy to make, but who wants to wait for a cell to crank it out or mix chemicals?

Well, it certainly won't be me. Acetylene is dangerous enough, and doesn't provide much more useable power than propane. Also, it has a very low ignition energy, and detonates readily, meaning that propane is a better candidate for fueling spud guns. And propane does have the potential to be better than acetylene, since acetylene can't be used in hybrid mixes of over 2x (and you'd REALLY have to be crazy to try a 2x oxy-acetylene mix).
And pyrogeek, you should try making cyanogen. If you suddenly stop posting and don't answer your email, we'll know what happened.
