30 bars ?
Probably not that high. I will be aiming to run it at about 25 bar max, any more than that and the air tank dose not have much usable pressure margin, The highest I can pump it to is about 40bar. With the popoff system, once the air supply drops to or below the popoff's setting it will not cycle.

I admire your skills to keep improving this design. It's pretty amazing to see how far you have taking it such a short time. The MKI photos on page one to this brass block is a huge jump in engineering.

Just curious, where did you purchase the solid brass?

The brass I got from a metal merchant that specialises in Copper and alloys like Brass and bronze.

I think you should consider selling these

there shouldn't be any problems with customs because the block is not a gun but it would be so easy for buyers to convert it into a gun

I second that. This is truly engineering at its finest.

So does your ammo just fall in to the barrel, no bolt or anything?
Also do you not get very many double feeds?

No bolt, the magazine is lightly spring loaded to help feed the ammo. There is a small post behind where the BB sits in the barrel to stop it rolling back into the valve. There is also a spring loaded detent in front of where the BB sits, to stop it from rolling out and to prevent double feeds. There is a diagram somewhere earlier on in the thread.

I don't think I will make them to sell, the laws in Australia a pretty strict, and it would be hard to sell it as anything other than a firearm part. I would also want to find a less time consuming way of making them.

Thanks for the complements anyway :D

I think I am going to have to make it again now, because I stuffed up a hole I drilled in the QEV cover Plate

wow!!!!!, this gun/design is simply amazing, ive only just found this thread as i'm mostly looking at the BBMG section  almost finished my 9mm semi auto and after seeing this I 'll be constructing one of these ASAP! the sound and power are staggering to say the least.

seeing as my 9mm guns ammo is very expensive and the ROF on the Pop Off Valve gun seems to be quite high,im thinking of opting for a .177 version as I buy 1500 rounds of .177 Daisy bbs for $7.00 Australian so probably my best option...........

From my nearest gun shop,I have a firearms licence 8) I was lucky enough to obtain my firearms licence way back when I was 18(18 years ago) when it was a case of joining an Airgun Shooting club, getting a letter from the club and theres your licence sir..............

I dont think you'll be using MY licence mate!,Im not risking losing it for anything.Surely you know someone near you with a licence who can get the bb's for you, dont really want to say what state I Live in,as im paranoid over getting busted for my homemade guns.

I had a police scare a few years ago where they tried to entrap me online with info on blank guns, airsoft etc after I posted up on a now deleted Airsoft site,im not making this up either.the gun laws here in OZ are trully a fucking joke
