yeah it does look cool, however...
The design of the valve is so simple it's not that hard, the complexity comes from having to make a feed system too
you've spent all these years building this... and now you are stuck at the same problem that I encountered

a 1/2" spool valve or a QEV + spool valve combo and a timing circut would work as good as this - if not more reliably... I even found a way to make it go full auto without having to fiddle with electronics

I've never quite understood your personal crusade to build this... what's the point of minimizing wasted air when inevitably the valve will have lower perfomance than a qev...?
tell me...couldn't you just accept minute loss of air per one cycle, could you??

It's a bit more than the 400 or so psi I'm used to so I'm not taking chances with a PVC body ;)

Every man has his Holy Grail, constant flow full auto is mine ;) This valve operates in the same way as a piston valve does, in that the pressure difference between the faces of the piston pushes it back, opening an outlet to the barrel - so why should a valve like this (built to optimal dimensions) have lower performance than a QEV?

As to my love for efficiency, waste not, want not :D

Gah can't wait to try it out, I'm very confident I'm on to a winner but if I don't give it another 12 hours I'm sure it will blow up  :D

Too late :(

Argh, you know what happens when you overload failboats, they'll FAIL!

Maybe you should also give QEV+popoff a shot.
I'll say it again: dont dare to fail!

Silence, oh demon of wasted air!

I'm sure I got it right this time, give it a few hours ;)

edit: it works! Well, sort of. Without a ball valve it's very hard to hit that "sweet spot" of flow that makes it cycle before the tank is empty. Methinks there are more purchases to be made.

Excellent, can't wait to see some video of it in action once the valving is sorted.

Turns out I was using a spring that was too weak  tweaked it and CLUCKING BELL!, new thread coming up soon :D

Time to send the Boat Of FAIL back to china. :D Go get working on that new thread JSR
