Yes it is. It's an ugly bastard but this one is only a prototype to see how the configuration feels in the hands of its users. The final version (if I approve of this one) will be made mostly from clear polycarbonate.

I would definetely participate. This is perfect timing actually. I just started a nerf launcher for science fair and it will be beast, with a few mods of course
