I have thought to do something like this but this year. It is a hybrid pumping gun to shoot BB of 6 mm. In the tests with 6X drills a can of soup. I did not think that 0.2 gr could be ... This is the air pump that I have built for this purpose. I have tried it up to 10 bar , 150 psi, and apart from heating a bit, it works correctly. I used a recycled cushion. I imagine that you should build a smaller one. You can find small shock absorber in the auto models, or fixed bicycles .... We will see to build the rest more ahead in the time.

He also built a rifle, (not sure if it actually was a rifled barrel). Full set of build videos, it doesn't get any better.
