Surely there's someone in the US with a slightly bigger lathe who will make you one, something like this is relatively easy and quick to machine.

If I could find a plastic supplier, I would be glad to do it.

I have found one that thinks my spudgun collection is "cute"
A new tool maker started where i work. SHE wants to be a gun smith later on after she finishes her apprenticeship.

2" just like this? I have 2 1/4" aluminum in stock if you want a aluminum piston...

You have to send your cylinder for a custom fit other wise there is no guarantee on size match...

That would be perfect, I have tried numerous times to do the whole o ring thing, I just cant without a lathe. I currently use 2 inch sanding drums and I dont really like the bolt washer version. I will pm you.

I'm happy with it, it fits perfectly.
You've done a good job, your accuracy is better than most of my classmates achieve with a lathe with a digital screen :)

Yay! Glad you received it and the tolerance is within your needs, looking forward to seeing it on a working launcher :D

On a sadder note, I was very angry to hear that the pengun nose I had sent to Gun Freak arrived likethis. I hope the enormous set of female genitalia who stole it pokes at least one of his or her eyes out with it

Shouldn't take too long, It's just a smaller version of my large QDV :)

I've ordered literally hundreds of things from eBay, only once did a box arrive empty, and luckily the seller agreed to resend. It's a shame that it should happen, to be honest I made a mistake not sending it in a thicker envelope, suppose I was thinking "who the fu(k would steal a small aluminium cone?"

:?

Oh well...

Wow, never heard of things being stolen from packages and the packages still being delivered. Like you, I've ordered hundreds of things off the internet, not until last week did I have a package not arrive. The seller resent the goods for free :)

Nice job with the piston by the way, I wish I could think of something awesome you could machine for me :D

Yeah I mean it was definitely stolen, it had to go through 2 plastic bags and an envelope and the layer of packing tape... :? meh

Labtec, making me jealous

Trough the layer of tape JSR also put on my envelope?

Labtec, making me jealous
The piston itself, or the fact that I got it without problems?
Maybe I can make some progress on the gun tomorrow, I need to drill 30 mm holes in the gas bottle, and they only have the needed drill bit at school :P

That you got it without problems. Not sure how much tape he put on your package :D

I completely understand...

At closer inspection, About 1 square cm wasn't covered with tape. I expected better from you, JSR :D :P
