well about 20mins ago i had my first real canon accident...

It was with my 1/8" bb sniper. Basically i shot a milo tin, it went through both sides rebounded off my wheelbarrow and smashed the glass sliding door behind me. And this was done at 70psi, and here it is midnight so yea, so not cool.

I will get a pic of it tomorrow before i kick the panel out so you cannot see the tell tail signs of impact (small hole with cracks leading to it from all directions) lol

It scared the shiza outa me, *squeezes trigger* bang, pinoew, smash *swears and and turns round wide eyed in disbelief*

A couple days ago I was bored and decided to see if I hook up a camera flash.I took the camera apart and I took out the battery that controls the camera flash.I now assumed that there was no charge because there was no battery I touch the circut board and zaaaaap.I dont now what happend after that because I woke up a couple seconds afterwards lying on the ground and I get up throw away the camera and all its circut stuff and watch some tv.The moral to the story is that if there is no battery that does not mean there is no power

@bigbob12345: That's a common but painful mistake, not to mention potentially dangerous. When capacitors are involved, never assume they aren't charged unless they are visibly shorted, and have been for sometime - it goes without saying that you need to check any charging supply is off.

oh yeah. i did that when i was in preeschool. huge black burn on my finger. smelled like bacon.

i took one apart a few months ago. i was wearing thick ass gloves, and shorted out every capacitor i saw. never going there again.

Haha this reminds of a time when I told my friend that you could make a tazer out of a camera. Well he went and opened a camera up (not knowing at all what he was doing of course) and started ripping stuff to see how it worked. I told him that he was going to shock himself but he just laughed and continued. And what do you know the capacitor goes off on him leaving a bad burn mark and he blames me. Oh well.

Not a cannon accident but today i managed to shoot the psi gauge off my bike pump. itn was already not working at at what I recon was close to 160psi i heard a leak. I stood back then bang, the psi gauge shot past my face an hit the roof then bounced back to the ground. I was pretty luky considering that I had been stairing right at the gauge just a few seconds before

I had a boo-boo.

It's kind of funny, but scared the crap out of me. What made it worse is that my buddies were there to laugh at me.

I load up my combustion launcher. I put it against my thigh, like normal, I charge it with the fuel, like normal, I push the button, like normal, but the spud stays in the barrel. My dumb ass forgot to put the back cap on it. It fired, but the flames went out the back, which just happened to be where my body was.

This one hurt a bit, and it burnt my clothes

Rule of thumb: Don't get in a hurry when firing. be sure to replace the end cap.

Well, with what I'm working on, if I suddenly stop posting, you'll know I had an accident. After that point, you can probably just turn on the news and find out the rest of the details...

The other month I was shooting the golden black jack when the blowgun popped off the modded sprinkler valve while I was holding it straight up in the air... the golf ball launched 300 feet up in the air and came rushing down.. a friends car that was parked in the driveway was right in the way of its path... but luckily the golf ball hit the driveway 3 inches from his car... then bounced up in the air and again it looked like it was gonna hit his car but was about a foot a way and then it just continued to bounce...

the scary thing is 5 seconds before the blowgun popped off I was using the gun as a chin rest... (not a good idea)... yeah I wasnt really thinking. Would of been scary if it went off when i was using it as a chin rest...

lmfao chin rest i think we have all done that!!!

EDIT i dont have any picture but basicly what happend is i forgot to close the bolt down on my longshot and my mate(phil) was standing next to me i pulled the trigger and the potato 32m shell and all flow into his eye lmfao was funny. i did it again the next day and got my arm havent done it since hehe
