That said, I do admit my fear of spiders is largely unjustified and irrational. I also don't kill spiders willy nilly, I was cutting up an old computer chair yesterday that had been sitting outside for a month and was full of spiders but I didn't kill one.
I'm planning on dissecting the little bastard for analysis under the microscope anyway.
Like I said before: I always leave the daddy long legs alone; apparently they're great for knocking off any spidery competition.

Picked up a little something today...

Ruger Mk. III 22/45. This one was a little trickier to track down than their standard model, but the threaded barrel is a nice reward for resilience.
Before any modifications, I have 400 rounds of CCI mini-mags to break it in with... going to be one of my better Mondays for quite some time.

Excellent taste Mark, good buy. Just mind the loaded chamber indicator, some people have problems with them.

Made sure to watch for its pin when I took it apart. Apparently, it falls out.
Definitely a little stiff taking it apart the first time. Had to use a rubber mallet to get the receiver/barrel off the lug, and needed it and a dowel to get the bolt stop pin in and out. Hopefully it'll loosen up a little in the future.
Definitely getting some 7/8" ID DOM tubing for a... compensator.

You know, having a threaded barrel isn't really essential for compensating .22lr, a tight friction fit or a collet-esque system will function just fine.
Here's a "spudgun attachment" for .22, .25 and .32, there's many more interesting accessories.

Jsefcik, just work for your self. Rake or mow peoples lawns, pet sit (which is pretty ridiculous...), etc. etc.
