I once microwaved pvc...it ended up burning alittle which resulted in me inhaling the fumes...it hurt.

mm and tthe darwin award goes too........ and how have these things already killed us do you have birth defects i mean in limeted cases yes it has already done harm but really its not that wide spread.

The human body can take so much abuse its pretty amazing, so i seriosly doubt that a little "essence" of pvc (burned or unburned) in the air, water, food, what ever is going to have any noticable effect on anyone, either in the short term or long term. The argument of bannign pvc is like saying we should ban computers and CRT screens because they all contain lead and we might get lead poisoning from using them.

i tried using a propane torch to heat pvc and bend it, ended up being a very bad idea and i had constant nose bleeds for a month afterwards

That's because the chlorine released when you burned it either burned the fragile tissues, or combined with hydrogen in the air to form HCl, which would also burn the skin. You're pretty much screwed either way.

Speaking of blood noses, I was taking a shower this morning, when I realized that their was blood going down the drain.
An unstoppable nosebleed.

I hate those, and the tolliet paper always melts in my hands when i try to stick it in my nose cause my hands are wet.

Exactly. Its just a heap of bs. Unless your eating it then of course its gonna be bad for you. Theres no way anybody could ban plumbing pvc.

actually on a 5 story or more building it is .

4 story and under are ok w pvc.

in the state of texas anyway,,your local may be different.

something odd to see is fire sprinkler pvc pipe(orange) being used

This is gonna sound really dumb but just stick a tampon up your nose. It actually works. It was in some movie my sister was watching and now my cousin always does it.

I don't quite understand the tampon thing, any chance of taking pics of yourself demonstrating this?

We live much longer today than we did yesterday, toxic fumes or not.

Just because some hippie doesn't like plastic and wants us to wear hemp underwear doesn't mean we should cave to their whim.

They just can't stand the fact that a material will outlast them.
