This type of pneumatic actuating has promise for something... maybe a way to load the next shot?

Its not exactly my first cannon, its more like my fourth, but it is the first one i've built without manually opening the valve, the others were horribly simplistic. i do have problems with the lefty thing, i am left handed so i built the gun so that the valve and cylinder were out of my way, but they would stab you in the face if you were to hold the gun right handed, so it is awkward for right handed people to shoot it.

Well the general suggestion we have for you, is make your own Piston valve, though that is an absolutely ingenious idea.

Yeah, making your own piston valve is awesome, after you made it you wonder why you ever used sprinkler valves. There so simple and look so cool and can be made very inexpensively. THEY ARE AWESOMe.
