Well, I could only go to 90psi because it started leaking heavily so I'll try and fix it and give it another go so here it is.
It makes it through 1 and then almost makes it through two, the marble cracked the other side of the milk container but failed to penetrate fully.
Here it is.

JSR: the backstop was a piece of 1-1/4" plywood, with an air gap behind it, and then a sheet of 3/4" plywood backed by 1/4" plate steel. Happy now?
Hey, it's for your own good
This would surprise me seeing as the .357 in my avatar, even with some hotter loads would only penetrate seven jugs of water. Although these were hollowpoints.
Apparently even the AP round for the springfield 30-06
is only good for seven jugs...

So far I have one crappy video of my ghetto combustion gun:
After christmas I'll have a digital camcorder and better videos/pictures.
I'll post more as I get them uploaded.

It shot through one and nicked the other.

Sorry, I'm lame, no pics, but I put a 150g lead slug through 4 jugs with my Negotiator 3 running about 140-150psi. That's not bad for pumping up in one minute by hand. The only interesting thing was the first jug, which was split about halfway open on the front entry. I think my best with a marble was only 1.5 jugs.

Test fire at two jugs(same jugs, but upside down to stop leaking) this nail disappeared, got through both of them, but the caps ended up inside the first jug.

This was the last one at one jug, somehow the entry hole was in the TOP of the jug and the nail came out and lodged itself in the GROUND. And by top, I mean the top of the jug before it moved.

Well this is my go at it,
The first part of the video i'm launching a fishing sinker at 110psi from my SGP cannon here:
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... tml#123928
I managed 4.5 jugs with that shot, but the shot after I got 5 outta 6.
The second clip in the video i'm shooting about 50 metal .177 BB's, they just go through the first jug and a bit of the second. 90psi.
The third clip I just shot a paintball at 90psi at a coke bottle, it just split the bottle open and coloured the water pink

Nice, 5 jugs is pretty impressive. I think the best ammo for this would be a long steel skewer type thing with a cone on the back that will be ripped off as it enters the jug. If I find some stuff to make it with I'll see how well it works.
