I've discussed it with my nearby neighbours. I've agreed to only use it at certain times of day, and I usually have a huge suppressor off the front anyway. (Not in any of the photos, sorry.) The suppressor isn't too pretty, but it cuts the noise down great. I'm intending to make a smaller, better looking suppressor (although it won't cut noise as efficiently) and new porting attachment to replace the old battered one.
As for the range, that is very abruptly cut down by a backstop made from a very solid lump of wood that used to be part of a 30 foot tall tree that used to own the front garden.

The arrangement with the neighbours has so far worked fine.

I should be able to make some really great videos of this soon. I've been practising with Movie Maker, so I've got that part down well enough. Right now though, you'll have to wait a bit, I don't have the launcher with me at Uni.

As for an M107, I'm currently searching for a reasonably priced scope to go with this to allow me to assess it's accuracy. That'll be quite fun to do.

The grip partly made itself. The metal framework took me a lot of work with a blowtorch to bend it into shape, but the polymorph layer was just a case of warming the granules, then just squeezing it into shape - just leave it to cool, and bingo! One perfectly formed grip.

Polymorph is great stuff, and I'll have to buy a load more some day soon.

It's not a hugely uncommon surname, but you have to be seriously worried about the etymology of it.

In an effort to contribute to the actual topic, I think it would be worth your time to add a laser sight of some type.
Other than that, this is probably the the best looking copper gun I've ever seen.
