Being as how his greatest performance was being a gay sheep herder...I don't think that is a good idea...

True very true...Only exception being turbo diesels.Best of both worlds.

Evo Lancer
STI Subaru Anything
Supra

Do you ever think this could end up being giant Combustions Vs Small Hybrids? The Combustion being a V8 and the Hybrid being a High Tech Turbo/Supercharged. . . .

You know, RNA has a very major point.
When the Lancer Evo 8 was getting 400 bhp out of a 2 litre engine, the Dodge Viper needed over 4 times that to get 500. Sounds like a very reasonable replacement to me.

And yes, I suppose a hybrid is a combustion with a turbo charger added.

Yet a simple '68 Plymoth Hemi Cuda can put out in excess of 1000 rwhp with some new pistons, rods, shaft, heads ported n polished with an 8/71 blower and a Barry Grant six shooter carby on top. Who needs computer work when simple bolt ons can improve performance by heaps. As proven by Street Machine Magazine with a simple 302 windsor motor putting out a dynoed 800+ hp in a beasty XF falcon.

Well, you go and do that - I expect we'll hear that you've driven to a hedge because of catastrophic oversteer. In a car that hasn't been designed to handle that power it's going to be a tough job to handle.

not if you do the right work to the handling to balance the grunt, oh and ova here in aussie land we don't tend to have hedges lol its more like bushland
