There is no such thing as KMnO3, it's KMnO4.
And that stuff is not a good thing to be screwing around with. It's a very strong oxidizer that reacts with a lot of things. Also, I just hate using it since you have to wear gloves. I'm not sure how toxic it is to get on your skin, but it stains your hands brown very quickly.

Also, what strength H2O2 is being used for this? Is it just the cheap 3%, or like the concentrated 40% you buy for bleaching hair?

Ofcourse I use safety glases.And gloves.Thats why it's so non user friendly and I don't play with it.I'm too lazy to write more...
