naw, I think thats fine relative to the high-end paint ball guns its what the fancy paint baller would probably pay

That thing is incredible. If you have a website I highly sugest you link to it in your sig so that everyone can go admire your work / buy them. Very nicely designed and slick.
One question: How air efficient is it? ie: how many shots can you get off a single tank.
Related: can you adjust the power/pressure for different ranged shots?

Without changing pressure there is a system option that allows instant velocity change. This for now will be installed on the police/military versions until I get some field testing done with the base models. This also keeps the cost down a little bit as well as getting them out the door sooner. For now you would need to increase or bleed the pressure. A sling attatched to the ring of the safety valve in front would work as a good method for this.

Can't spoil the secret with the shows, also because it could be on one or more of a few shows that the studio works on. As soon as I get the ok I will surely let everyone know.

iknowmy3tables, it does only use the spring and air friction(with a little trick) to make the seal. one could use the indexer pistons to REALLY make a seal, but testing has shown it unnecessary. the positive force piston valve is only used for firing, however some though has been given to combining it with the indexer mechanism. This design is the most dependable however, not relying on exhaust and fill speeds

On the 50. cal test on the site it seems like it has a longer barrel than in the pics you have shown us. Has it been shortened, or is this just a accessory, or am i seeing things. This gun also reminds me of the

At 40mm, will a golfball fit in there? Sounds like you're focusing it toward the non-lethal ammo for law enforcement and the paintball market. Very nice work!

It normally does have the longer barrel attatched. There are two standard lengths right now and a few test lengths. Ballistic testing starts tomorrow so more info soon on that subject.

The Milkor is the target for training purposes. Reloading is different, but the Eclipse can match the m-32's range in the standard version. M-32 is a few pounds heavier, but also somewhat more expensive. owners of Milkor saw the prototype at FPED VI and we have had a few discussions about a demo with the production models. Wish me luck!

I do hope the Eclipse is a sucess i can see it has amazing potential, is the Eclipse going to be marketed at Law enforcement mainly or the Military too.

really the eclipse has similar range as the Milkor, if you can streamline it, make it acurate, ensure reliabilty then the mililitary would probebly adopt it because of it's much more quiet a factor useful in special operations, but first it would have to be 99.8% reliable,

Here is the latest anodizing and belt system. Finally got the trigger assembly mounted. 1911 Grips next with coverplate. Raised stock attach point. Looking to put an asa fitting on there for using a shorty carbon fiber wrapped tank.

One mayor advantage to this for the military is the absence of muzzle flash.

I wish I had the chance to machine aluminium like that.
I'd never run out of plans I'm sure.
