i tried soldering, its actually really easy. Its like drawing on a really hot peice of metal :wink:

you could use J B weld its glue but its almost as strong as welding and works great on copper or brass (i glued two pieces of copper together side by side).

Welding copper is way way easy, and the kit to do it costs less than $20us. The blue propane bottles you see all over this site are blow torch bottles, which come in a $20 set, which also comes with solder and flux. Using it is easy, apply flux between the two pieces to be welded, heat it with the blow torch til it bubbles, then press the solder into the flux/joint to be welded. Its extremely easy to get the hang of, and when you do, it will take 5-10 minutes to complete a good weld on a pipe/connector. Epoxy will work, but is no where as strong... and other than that is pretty much suicide. Good luck. :wink:
