That's a good idea on the ribboned golfball...adds a good deal more drag I'm sure, but still a cool idea

Alright so I was just playing around with ggdt and it said I could get about 1200 feet or 400 yards with a 36x1 chamber, a 1 inch burst disk, and a 48x1 barrel at 150 psi. Is this possible?

Mmmm people have said it before but yeah probs just go with the "pnuematic: 1.5x48 inch chamber, 1 inch modified sprinkler valve, 1.25x60 barrel."
But thinking about it thats pretty big...........
Golf Balls or Metal shots should easily be able to get that distance
hope it all works
