frank: cell core is just fine for everything. if you don't put more pressure in it than 5psi.
one more note about this. you know
these balls? i bursted one and it held up to 65psi.
Excuse me?
Spudfarm, I suggest you rethink your words, you obviously don't know who I am.

what?
powder is not allowed
cell core is fine on 5psi since you can blow harder than that
the ball took 65psi

Spudfarm you must have been using a cheaper brand,my dad takes his up to a around 30, and uses his on a regular basis, the only reason he ever throws one out is because of regular wear and tear. and leakage around the filling inlet.

there people go.. even thin rubber balls can take 30psi with a man on it.
(maybe the calculation i did was right)

65 psi is, well, insane.
6.5 psi is a more reasonable burst.
even with someone sitting on it, and a one foot diameter circle is touching the ground, which i would imagine is reasonable, yields 113 square inches.
at most 2 psi people, unless your grandma is sitting on it...
edit: 30-65 kilo pascals makes sense, at 4.3 to 9.4 psi

One more question, is iron pipe as strong as steel? I'm not talking about the malleable iron fittings, I'm just talking about the black iron nipples that I see in the hardware stores.
I'm not really worried that it would fail if its stronger than malleable... but I'm just wondering.

52000 for material strength looks pretty high.
30-35000 is the range of steel pipe ,,I don't know the numbers for iron.
Standard practice is cutting your final strength in halve on threaded pipe with other measurements the same.
