Is there a way to keep the marble from falling behind my barrel and into my coupling?
Yeah, a screw

Hehe, but if it rolls inside the barrel, you can only shoot it angled or else it will roll out of the barrel.

You still could use a screw, just put the screw lightly on the projectile and since it could be threaded and unthreaded to adjust...

Or some electrical tape on the inside of the barrel.

Well you could take shiat into the back of the barrel, that might work for one shot. Might be good wadding as well. You may just kill to birds with one poop.

lol but why would i want to shoot at a bird?
anyway thanks for your ideas everyone but i dont want to put towels or patches of a old t shirt into my gun every time i want to shoot, so i am thinking either screw or tape. I will give tape a shot first just so nothing bad happens. then if i like it i will go for the screw idea so its a permanent and professional looking job.

try putting a bit of Vaseline or some other type of gel type substance in the barrel where you want your ammo to sit it should support it you will prob have to redo this ever now and again tho.
