gotcha! that is awesome! so by adjusting your spring strength you adjust the pressure that it goes off at. The amount of time that the QEV stays open is determined by the ratio of the "small" surface area on the piston to that of the "extra", as well as by adjusting in inlet flow. Awesome!!!!

I gots an Idea this snap valve wouldn't actuate a quick as a qev correct? and using this snapvalve wouldn't allow you to use ammo over .50 right?
well what if you use this to fill a qev cannon and pilot it that would give you a more powerful valve and the ability to use ammo over .50

... that is what he just said he was doing... exactly what he just said he was doing...
now I'm off to get parts to do the same.

Wel I took a vid of it in action.
Finally you can hear a proper Dutch accent!!
The vid shows the ( old and ugly) QEV with Snapvalve in action at only 3.5 bar ( approx 50 psi)
I attached the bb-gun barrel ( yes!! I got one!!) to silence it a bit, it's not there to fire ammo.
I need a bb chamber for that.I managed to thread it to 1/4"though!!
Vid should be found here , after it's processed.
( hope it works or I'll change the adress later)
I'm gonna put it on the Deathray, with just a T in the back as it's reservoir to get the highest possible pressure and longest barrel compared to overall lenght ( bullpup)
And I'm gonna up the firing pressure to about 300 psi.

I like the sound of that popopopoppopopopopopopop.

Great...so it has sound.
My speakers are disconnected or something...I could not hear a thing..
Sounds good huh?
Finally some results!!
Now to stick it on the deathray and crank it up!!

What type of loader will you use blow f bolt?
Wait so you didn't stick with the original design plan?

No bolt, just bb chamber.
I spent my entire sunday to machine a block of aluminium.
I made a perfect blow forward bolt ( airtight yet no friction at all!!)
But as I fired it, it cut little chunks out of the bb's, wich made some of them jam.
The block looked massive and I decided to just go with what works.
The vortex elbow thingy I made for the Deathray feeds 100% , and makes for a very nice compact bb chamber.
Just the best thing to do.

So it will be just like a vortex but with pulsed air?

Sweet, when are you going to put some ammo through it?
Oh, and you sound
exactly like I imagined

Ha ha hahahaahahah so where do you live JSR? JK[/b]

bbmg with pulsed air...Yes, but I'm hoping I can finetune it so it fires once per pulse.
Don;t forget it 'll give off constant 300 psi pulses.
@JSR
I chold you guysj tjere's shumching rong wichsj my shjpeakers.
So I couldn't hear that clip.
I know it by heart though.
But I sure hope I didn't sound that bad!
I'll be putting ammo through it when it's put on the deathray.
I need to use the handle and quick change adapter set up to power it , and the tee to use as the bb reservoir.
It's currently at a friends house, who has put quite a few 6 mills through it.
he loves it, but he's in for a treat now!

How did the bb get chopped in the breech? Maybe you could make a spring loaded mag.?

I love the sound it makes, how fast/slow can it cycle because in the clip it sounds pretty fast, maybe loading will be a problem? and you may get misfires occasionally?
