Not all mini fridges (and usually not the cheap ones) use the same mech. Even if they do, the compressors are usually slower.

slower really isnt an issue for me, so much as attainable pressure, if it can get up to 400 psi, I dont really mind if it takes 2 minutes, especially since I would only trust 400 psi in more compact cannons, which dont take much to fill.

Excuse my dumb question but could some on explain how the valve used here works, I never heard of it and it come how caught my attention?

je ne sais pas, mes moi j'aime les chause compact et fort. By all means there are few languages you will know that i will not(though my french grammer is fairly bad) I am not sure of what it is but it seems compact and relatively strong, two attributes i really like when it comes to valves(strong being fast and having a low opening time)

Well to me, it definitely looks like a piston, whether it was purchased or constructed, if you look at that diagram somewhere on this site about the diferent kinds of pistons, it looks very similar in design to one of them.

Oh your refereing to the thing at the end of the narrow tube! oh ok, I dent know what that is either, but like he says, pushbutton. I don't know, it looks expensive. I think its just basically a blowgun valve, just fancier

can a normal blowgun valve from kolbolt handle 900 psi
and if so would it be really hard to push down

what is a kolbolt? just regular blowgun valves, I do not know if they would handle 900 psi, but supposing they could, it wouldn't be hard to push down, the pressure isn't pushing against the button...

Exactly what it says on the tin. A valve that is opened (or closed, depends on model) by the push of a button.

well you see... its a valve... and you push the button to make air flow through it

just think of it as a mini-blowgun (i suspect it works in much the same way anyway)

So it is a button operated blowgun valve? Or is there more to it?
