Or you could use FRAPS.

Infact, FRAPS is your only choice.

You sure that's know the rendering fps? Like the converters I have tell you the fps...of the rate of the conversion, not the video itself.

Thanks Maxus, i'll have a look at fraps.

bink and smacker tells you the number of frames converted. that plus video length tells you fps. FRAPS sounds simpler though.

my god that must make molten puddles of lead all over.... with electrical components falling out all over the place.
You'd be surprised actually, I find it heats up slowly enough that you can control which components come out. It's much less destructive than the propane torch I was using before.

And you got an old oscilloscope? Is it one of those single-channel ones with a circular display?

Me? Nothing spud related, general assortment of other things

Various cash and cheques, new wallet (a good thing, as my old one wasn't great), COD4 for my laptop (not had it before, already liking it lots), a book about drugging elephants, calendar (three guesses what the calendar's subject was, first two don't count), and a few minor assorted things.

It takes quite a lot of hard drive to install, so I couldn't justify buying it when I had the pretty tight storage my old hard drive limited me to.

As I only installed my new drive a week ago, and I haven't got any of the new-gen consoles (Not really interested - my old Xbox is perfectly up to the task of wasting a couple of hours), it's perfectly possible to have never owned it until now.

And no, I've not yet played it online. As a general rule, I like to get acquainted with the basic play mechanics of a specific game in my own time before venturing on to the internet.

Actually... no.
I like the show, but do you really think I'm the kind of person who wants pictures of Jeremy Clarkson up on my wall?

Wait, don't answer that...

you don't know what you're missing out on... although... old xbox has Halo 2 (which i can't play on my 360 because i run it through a VGA cable  and i don't have my old xbox hooked up)

and as for the calender... i'd guess cars? or guns? or scantily clad ladies (mmmm)?

Well I got a few things for Christmas...

Wii Mod Chip, 8 Wii Games for Mod Chip, Aasics Running shoes, and $100 for Christmas, which I will be using for my next spud related ball pneumatic modded with suspension spring.

If anyone wants to know what the Wii Mod Chip does then send me a post I think most of you do know what it is but I can't discuss it.

Other than that $100 that's the only thing I got that was spud related XD.
