Happy new year all!

I spent last night with firing off alot of fireworks and throwing junk (old furniture etc) on a big campfire. Unfortunately I didnt have the time to bring out a cannon.

A quite interesting thing to do is to use a big leaf blower to give a fire some extra oxygen. Insane thermal radiation. :D
The metal fire basket we started the fire in is... not in the shape it used to be.

wow boys the morning after and wow am i spinning i was so screwed up last night we drank 3 40s between 7 friends and brought out some cannons fun but tomorrow ill be over it!!

Mine was great we lit off a whole lot of fireworks your regular assortment of fountains, roman candles, bottle rockets, and whistlers; 200 foot mortars and WOW these things are super scary I mean they almost needed a license to shoot them off, and one of these basically Sorry man, can't advertize the sale of fire works, but you can post the pics of them all ready gone off up in the sky. Ill try get some pics of the assortment.

We spudders are a special brand of people! We may not be as socially adept as the jerks that get the women, but if you have read The Dilbert Principle, you will know that engineers reach their maximum sexyness around our 20's or 30's. Then they'll be all over us :D

They want intelligent guys once they realize that living with a dumbass just doesnt work.

Well, I had a good time. The only thing I can talk about that we did was that we had a gigantic bottle rocket fight over a few acres of land last night.

I've been in college for a few months now and I can't even bring myself to drink on New Year's Eve... I'm never gonna get anything resembling a girlfriend...

I had a very fun but aggravating night.

Here's a play by play:
Video games->ate->drive to supposed party->deal with drama->have a drink-> party doesn't happen->drive to another party->drink->DRAMA-> drink->drink->drink->drink->More DRAMA->out of drink->laugh at drama->leave->go to friends house->crash on fold out chair.

That was it, but all the drama/crying/yelling was caused by girls messing with guys. Form you own conclusions....

But to the girlfriend issue. I've gotten screwed over hard too when I was 17 (first girlfriend too). But I just started dating a great girl so I just want to pass on the message that there is hope.

Indeed.
I've spent alot of time at parties having no luck at all, but after a long time I went to a party without having "I might encounter a nice girl tonight" in my head. I just went there to party, not for the women.
The morning after, I woke up next to whats my girlfriend since then. (Which is still my girlfriend after more then a year now)
