Yer schmanman your cannon is VERY powerful but I would still choose mine or brian the brains or alot of other one over yours as they are alot more fun as you get to aim and hold them and they look better. Im not hving a go at you im just saying.
EDIT: Your is a pneumatic and the one he is talking about is combustion.

schmanman I would get board of just pulling a trigger, I much prefer guns you can hold and aim and shoot quickly, like mine the gun is this thread looks cool and probly feel awsome to hold, rarther that just standing next to a large gun when it goes off.

Thanks for kicking up the topic. It reminds me to take the AMC for a spin every now and then

I'll probably switch to acetylene during the winter holidays. I don't think I'll have time for mods any time sooner.
I don't know how far it can shoot because I still haven't developed standard ammo, so there hasn't been anything to test on the firing range. I'm lazy, I know.
As for plans, the description page mentioned in the 1st post should give you enough info about the building process. I never actually drew any plans for this thing. It was pretty much "make it up as I go along".

Don't ask for plans, somone will get real mad. On this forum there are 3 big things that people get angry with.
1 ASKING FOR PLANS!!!
2 Double posting
3 POSTING IN OLD TOPICS!!!
If you want a gun like this, browse the forms until you completely understand how they work. That way you won't need plans. People will be perfectly willing to help you, but if we spoonfeed you the answers you won't know how to fix the gun when it malfunctions. Read the wiki, it will explain how guns like this work.

Designing your own gun is half the fun. Thats what makes it unique and what makes it YOUR gun.

WOW you learn fast
And one more thing, If you can't figure out how to make it then you shouldn't be making it in the first place. Just a little searching on the forums and spudwiki and in a week you should no most basic stuff about spudguns. These
CAN be dangerous, most of us here use them so they're not dangerous but when you copy something you don't know how to make then they can be lethal. If you need help we'll be happy to support your queries.

Hehe... plans... Yeah, that's a good one, considering it's one of the few cannons in there that actually have some sort of build log.
Well, since we're on the subject, time for a question of my own:
does anybody have an idea for acetylene fueling system? I don't mean how to meter from a tank ('cause I don't think it comes in tanks over here), but rather obtaining it "on site", using carbide and water.

Acetylene ... that's pretty volatile stuff. Careful, because I'd like to see some of your future designs...lol. Awsome machine and great vid too.
Thanks
P.S. A buddy of mine is using propylene and oxygen (4:1 ratio @ 40 psi). Lots of bang and and about 200m using a 1.5 inch barrel and a standard potato slug.
