CPVC is a VERY tight fit. You may have a hard time finding any foam that fits in it. Regardless of what you find, I can almost assure you that you'll need to stretch it.

Cool!
I am wondering, If anyone knows the approximate burst pressure for a 1/2" diameter layer of 2 or 3 liter bottle burst-disc?

Also if it's feasible for a hose clamp around a 3/4" -1/2" copper reducer bushing to hold in place @ about 300psi?

I was wondering some more stuff (dumb sh!t) but forgot at the moment.
Thanks. 8)

EDIT: Oh, is there a copper pipe size (or sleavable w/brass tube) that fits golf balls???

And other question, can I fill a fire extinguisher through where the gauge normally is????

i am looking for 2 solenoid valves that are going to be electric
i want it normal not the big manual valve on top. but which 1" sprinkler valve opens fastest electric(solenoid)?

@ poland spud

the closest copper pipe to a golf ball would be 40mm and its too small and 50mm being too big ,so no..

can u fill a fire extinguisher through the gauge connection, yes but the hole is so small u may need to drill it out to fill more promptly..

To make a sprinkler valve a little faster in electric operation, the size of the porting through the electric valve can be enlarged some. This done wrong will make the valve not work leaving the only option of completing a full manual mod. Due to the pilot port sizes, this is never going to be as fast as a regular valve mod.

I have a question for fellow aussie spudders, i need a reliable source for small bore tubeing, 6mm and below as long as its metal, i dont like buying pipe online so i need a shop/store that would supply such pipe?

any ideas???? :D

A hobby store..they sell telescopic brass and aluminum tube in small-mid diameters. Why? I don't know.

It's finished.. A few small leaks needed fixing. I could have done some testing today, but decided to give the epoxy until tomorrow.

Should probably get off my lazy butt and post it.

As for the 1000 ft/lb .75 cal it's in the 'getting funding' stage..

Slow down the RPM maybe? Does it really matter though?

I'm pretty happy at the moment I gave you this thread, you would've been butchered for asking that question in a new topic.

Ok since this is the post all stupid questiones thread I got some questiones....

1.For soldering electric units do you need also need flux or just the solder?
2.Im making a small gun and I need a way to divide the batteries voltage among the electric divices, the fan, the stun gun and MAYBE the lazer pointer... is there a way to divide the voltage from a battery? like giving something 5 volts than giving another 8 volts using the same battery?
3.Will wraping silicone tape around wires raise their "voltage" rating? silicone tape is similar to electrical tape but stronger I think... by raising the voltage rating I'm saying that for example if I get regular cheap speaker wire and I want it to be able to use it as stungun wires, by adding the tape will it prevent the electricity from jumping across the insulation in the wires?
4. After soldering, I plan on crimping whatever I soldered then addiding some silicone tape on top of the crimp to prevent sparks, will this help or no?
5. LAST QUESTION... Ok so I got 3 switches from an electricity store, I got 2 push ones 1 for the stun gun and 1 for the lazer, the other one is an on /off switch... the on /off switch has 3 points or little thing to which to solder wire, in the other hand the push ones have 2, what is the 3rd one on the on/off for?
PIC of a similar switch : http://i1.iofferphoto.com/img/item/727/ ... pmanRz.jpg

P.S : someone logg into the chat please?

@ the boom

quote "1.For soldering electric units do you need also need flux or just the solder?''

that depends on what type of metal your soldering and what type of solder you intend on using

maybe a little more info would be helpfull :)

He is soldering electronics what more do you need to know? He just wants to know if he needs flux when soldering wires and electrodes.
