Could you integrate a Tesla turbine within the launcher? That would use air friction to pre-spin the projectile and Tesla turbines can reach impressive spin rates.

Ragnarok, just a wild guess, does your secret way of inducing spin happen to work much like an induction motor? Multiple static coils creating a rotating magnetic field, "dragging" a piece of metal along with it.

Like Hotwired says, it wouldn't be much of a secret if I just answered questions on it!
It's solely electromagnetic, and like with a decent coilgun, the only moving part* is the projectile. That's all I'm saying for now.
*In the sense of the coilgun, excluding any loading mechanism, obviously.

Well, it doesn't matter if I could spin stabilize it or not for the time being cause my dremel made a liar out of me, I can hollow out the base of the rounds, it just takes patience, but it paid off, might upload a picture sometime soon.
