It is prop driven. But the fact is, the dimensions of the boat and canal channel still means that the faster you run the boat, the lower it'll sit. Bear in mind, we're talking about water depths of 3 or 4 feet at most, and the boat has a ~2 foot draft.jrrdw wrote:A trim tab would still help but no where near as much as if it was prop driven.
Anyway, the boat is geared in such a way that it's top speed is still only about 6 mph (plus or minus whatever flow rates are present).
