Firstly,this was the source for my old avatar.

I should explain, at the time, my signature made some kind of reference to changing my avatar - I believe schmanman had decided to copy it for some reason, but I remember little more.

I don't remember really that was a long time ago...
uhmm I ok I do remember that I found spudfiles and it was the only forum that was active and interesting... I had been lurking for a while before I joined

lol don't even comment on my name... I realized that it doesn't make any sense seconds after typing it but I guess that in the long run it didn't prove to be that hard to recognize

Found this place through Spudtech. I don't post a lot anymore, I mainly just lurk around, probably because I'm too lazy to type anything most of the time.

Thread unlocked. Sthorne a marijuana leaf as an avatar isn't necessarily offensive IMO, but you should make some observances for a public forum. Someone is putting booze as there avatar as we speak...

I added the poll as well, if you think something should be added post a response before voting.

A friend told me about the "orange cannon" he once had.
I started googling. I stumbled onto spudguns (instead of oranges) and that's how it all started.
I found a lot of spudgun sites, and after a few months of lurking I decided to join.

I think I was looking up fiberglass wrap for a combustion gun. Wound up here.

Until 8 months ago, I'd never heard of a GB cannon. I saw an "Instructable" by MrCrowley and it inspired me to start designing / building. Thanks, Mr Crowley!

I tend to spend my time more wisely...wich is why I'm glad I found this site..

Is there something we could do with the information we get out of this thread?
It could be helpfull if we ALL ( I already do) link to spudfiles in our vids?

Also, we could advertise this site as much as possible on other forums we may visit...

I joined Spudtech while researching on how to make an air cannon back in early 2006.

Found the link to Spudfiles, joined that too, posted occasionally on Spudfiles for an extended period of time...

Then, in 2007 (or 2008, I can't remember exactly), the SGTC forums shut down with a link to Spudfiles.

Been here mostly ever since.

Not to be defender of all crime, but I'd say intelligence predisposes the effects of drugs. Losers often prove themselves liable of being such before taking drugs. Some find a inclination to a new perspective, aided by their predisposed intelligence. Predisposition of the masses, that is another thing...

Is there something we could do with the information we get out of this thread?

I added the poll to gauge the traffic flows of new members. With search engines, and SpudTech topping the list can't say we blew the assumed norm.

As you say linking SpudFiles in YouTube videos would be helpful. Damned interesting spudding videos don't ever seem to get high circulation though. Perhaps someone could spill techniques on how we could achieve higher circulation? I'm sure the playlists help to a degree.
