It's nothing too revolutionary (apart from the ball valve - see what I did there

) so no problems there, I'll start it this evening hopefully.

Yes, I'm multi-tasking now

*and* failing, lol talk about getting in touch with your feminine side

Let's not be unfair to epoxy, any time it failed on me was either because I didn't give it enough time to cure which seems to be most of the time, or occasionally bad design on my part. These particular parts baked at 60ÂșC for 13 hours (told you, looong workday

) so no surprise they held up well

After my reasonably successful
micro BBMG project I thought I'd give the smaller calibre another go with a ball valve trigger, initial results are very promising though limited as my SCUBA is due for refilling. Methinks I'll ramp it up from "submachinegun" to "assault rifle" with a longer barrel and tighter seal to reduce ROF somewhat, watch this space

Did I bother making titles for nothing
I'm waiting for
this to arrive before making the 1mm one.

That looks impressive (on highspeed)
1mm?!? thats called a sandblaster.
Maybe you should look at abrasive sprayer patents...
Cmon, 6mm BBMG!

That's the thing, you need high speed footage to really appreciate the action. In real time it was BRAAAAAAAP!!!!
1mm?!? thats called a sandblaster.
That's for the sentry gun, I think it makes sense for reasons outlined
here. Single shot testing with 1mm BBs at 800 psi have been relatively promising, it will go through both sides of a beer can or embed itself in plywood
C'mon, 6mm BBMG!

I had
something worse in mind actually

I don't think it's the best idea really... well it would be cool but that calibre makes more sense for semi-automatic fire or fast semi-automatic fire but certainly not for a full auto gun... you'd need a lot more air for that
.20" cal or 6mm bbs should offer plenty of power while they are considerably cheaper and consume less air per each shot
you could even built the first gun using the full auto valve of my design

why stop at 3/8inch bearings when you can have 5/8!

I've been watching some
silly American propaganda, I think I will stick with 3mm calibre (just got another 10,000 rounds

), but the time is ripe to make a gatling type BBMG...

That video is pure magic.
I could feel my balls of steel schrink as I watched it..
Oh wait..
Nope..they're still 16 mm...
Got some 11 mm ones too though.
Working on a forced blowback bullpup design as we..ehm...read and write..
BTW..1mm sounds very promising.
That would make a true raygun especially if you crank
UP the ROF.

Haha, I disturbed and amused in equal measures at the idea that you "self-checked" while posting
1mm sounds very promising. That would make a true raygun especially if you crank UP the ROF.
The flow into the BB chamber is going to be at the very least 100% of the flow through the barrel (using a 5mm ported ball valve) and there will be no seals or detents so ROF should be as high as it can get
