After seeing this thread I just had to go and rip apart my little portable compressor!
Mine will pump up to 200psi before the schrader connecter blows of. It is rated to 300psi so I can't see why I don't just connect a decent bit of hose and a quick connect and see how I go.
I did find the motor is gutless at 12 volt and prefers 13.8 volts to really work.
The piston is approx 1" across and the stroke just short of 3/4" long
It has almost 0% dead space at the top of its stroke.
I don't know how much power it would take to get it above 300psi but I can always piss of the motor and connect a drill to it like what has been suggested. some sort of socket connection should be possible.
If I can work it into a gun design of some sorts I could have onboard air up to 300psi which would be good 8)
I figure here is just as good instead of starting another thread. I am not hijacking this thread or anything.....I hope!
