that looks good, but the chamber would have to be pretty big which means the main tank would have to be HUGE to get more than 10 shots like he wants

Well depending on the size of the space between the ball valves he could probably get 20-30 with a tank the size of your golf ball guns

lol yeah no doubt but for airsoft you probably want like a foot of 1 inch at least, but i would use 1.5"

I just used the paint program that came on my computer, the only problem I see is that both valves will be halfway open at the same time, If you crank fast enough It will probably work fine, if you use knex gears you will have to use knex chain which is easy to break. I think you will have better luck with bike parts.

Oh yeah clemsonguy that's true... lots of air can leave the tAnk in that time... might want to rething it. 3rd valve anyone? :D

No matter how many valve you have the same problem would occur

100 valves anybody?
lol the more the valves the less air loss but there will always be loss, you're right. there has to be a way to prevent this though... or you could always hand operate the two valves

well heres a though, if you have a system with lots of valvesyour going to loss pressure in between each on due to the fact the pressure will equalize as you open each valve andtherefore you will lose overall pressure and god forbid you run a 100 valve system cause the bb will just role out the end of the barrel

edit: this would be the ideal set up fo the forward assemably. connect the cam to the rotating ball valve and gt the timming right and it will work perfectly...
