I just got around to reading this thread, and I agree with everybody saying it wouldn't work that good. If you want a good gun to use in airsoft skirmishes, it is senseless to go through all this work to make a complex gun like this when you can make a
BBMG. Do some research in the wiki and showcase for some info and examples.

But bbmgs have such a high rof and this is more compact

With a simple detent you can adjust the ROF on a bbmg...

Yeah but to slow down the rof to 20 bbs per seconds you need 200 psi

Ok saw them already but I saw a bbmg showcased here with a piece of vynil hose used as a detent, and it was run at normal bbmg pressure.

Yeah it was a clounds and didnt have a vid plus it looked like it was 6mm hose which doesnt affect the rof

It did effect the rof, he said it was about 5 per second.

Detents can be made adjustable, by having flexible tubing within a compression fitting like POLAND_SPUD did you can tighten or loosen the fitting to give a higher or lower "pop-off" pressure.
