I will give it a shot.

Jack, if Gun freak makes a hybrid after his lathe, he gets a vote from me.

I vote for ilovefire, he joined SF after me with a simple combustion, but quickly learned new concepts like hybrid catriges and well made pneumatics

You did a pretty good job too - many of the younger members are the most impressive to be honest, while the results look ghetto many times they just show the best being made of available resources, that's when true resourcefulness shines :)

By "ghetto" I mean "without the use of sophisticated machining facilities or expensive materials" ;)

Hybrid DOESN'T need to be impressive, and it really dependes on people, there are people like big cannons and people that like multishot rifles. I have made 2 functional hybrids, but I injoy more my bbmgs :D

I don't get it...

Why is it you want to find the fastest learner jrrdw?

Planning a bankrobbery or somethin' and you need help??

:D
I think it's not the fast learners that have contributed most to the site.

It's those that did what nobody else has taught them...those that kept fiddling with a design and never gave up until they got it to work...after wich the others could learn from it.

Those that do the real work,...like JSR

I was looking at a certain post the other day and noticed the join date and how fast he progressed in that amount of time and thought to myself "who is the fastest".

So I ask.
