you're doing it the wrong way... no need for a cap
just put something like this

and add an air cylinder to strike it

What about shotgun primers, they got that edge that you could put a rubber seal or oring there and jam them in and they should be airtight, the .209 ones

hello!
I have to test tomorrow!
I had a problem with the lighting BBQ, it does not work with 10 meters of cable ...
So I thought to activate the piezo with a pneumatic cylinder and it works!
Of course this assembly is only for testing:
a remote control activates the solenoid valve sending air into the cylinder!
