Hang on, if you're younger than Jesse, and I'm around his age, then that makes you a bloody kid. Here's me thinking you're a few years older than that.
My whole reality is collapsing.
And a 30k lawnmower? You could buy a Kubota and slasher deck for that.

And anyway, I'd secure it. But in your situation I'd pay for my error and apologise, and learn from the fork up
Don't get too down on it- at work a coworker put the lawnmower trailer on and drove the lawnmower on (it's a $30k lawnmower and registered, quicker to put it on the trailer to take it places sometimes though). Going down the highway at 90, and the trailer and lawnmower fall off due to him not putting the trailer on properly. Granted, mistakes happen, but it's happened 3 times now

that guy needs to learn how to use rope or cran straps

Well I just turned 18, so the law here says I'm not. I think he's 18-19ish or something?
It's a big lawnmower, and gets used for the golf course, parks, bike tracks etc. We also have a reel mower exclusively for the oval which would be easily another $40k, and a John Deere/2 slasher decks and a broom for really rough stuff. It's not my pocket they got bought from
Jcefsik, there's a small lever which needs to be down with a pin securing it to lock the trailer on, nothing to do with tying the mower down.
Edit: Also note I'm in Australia so the prices on vehicles (lawnmowers in this instance) are higher, and you'd pay less for the same thing over there. Still costly equipment though

The car pictured in my avatar was purchased when I was 22 and that was 7 years before you were born!
Yes I am the old fart! All you others are kids to me.

That's alright then, I thought you were implying you are still barely a kid. That makes me uncomfortably close to your age.
So you also do the flasho mowing, that explains it.
