Read your message as i was going to work this morning, Just got round to taking pics.

Also got my low profile laser and 45 degree offset mount for my red dot.

Turns out the rail grooves on the toy are not scale size, to narrow and not deep enough. Some creative work with a dreamel quickly sorted that out :)
The red dots sight window just clears the windage dial if i have the cover off.

Still waiting on the 555 timer, fittings for my 9kg tank to push to connect, and the main firing chamber, cant do much till they arrive. Inland china why you so slow >.<

Hum without the internals I can't be sure but it may work, in a weird way through. You can hook it to a power source to find out or open it up so I can be sure :)

Fml, Air flows from A-R, when activated A-P. So it wont port my qev. Damn it :(

Hope you havent made that timer yet zues, Gotta find another valve and it may or may not be 24v.

Wyz, have you come accross any solinoid valves that wil fill from A-R, then port from R-P ?


EDIT- Played with it a tad more, if i connect my air source to R, sends air to A, hit the button and it shuts off R and ports air from A-P

So if i hook it up this way it will block of my air input and vent the qev, or so i hope

The timer circuit will work with 9 to 15 VDC and the solenoid driver circuit will work from 6 to 24 VDC.
In other words you can have two separate power sources.

Does that mean i will need 2 power sources to power that solenoid and the timer, Or just one? And will the input voltage need to be 24v? I havent got the timer/heard from zues so i dont know alot about it.

More pics just because, got round to mounting the rails and accessory today. I need to find a way to properly secure the barrel/shroud into the stock. The extra weight makes the front move around. I might have to try and epoxy putty it into one of the halves or something

Yes! I recommend a 9 Volt battery for the timer circuit due to the small size and then another battery for the solenoid power. The battery for the solenoid may need a higher current capability. It all comes down to the requrements of the solenoid. A 12 volt solenoid may be better in your application if you can get one.
This could be used for both power sources if you use a 12 volt solenoid.

Dewey, call me old fashioned, but I was just going to use a regulator instead. TO-220 package, and cheaper than two battery packs.

Use a LM2940CT-12.
This is a LDO low drop out regulator.
Much better than the 780x series you are accustomed to.
With the 780x series you will probably need a heatsink as well.
The 780x series is "old" linear technology compared to the 2940CT.
