Only one problem. How do you get the valve to reseal? It seems like the air flow would keep the valve from closing on it's own.

Lol. Thanks. I'd gotten that far. That's how the standard hammer valve works, but on this one it might not work so well.
The basis of this design is that it works on the same principle as a QEV valve. The pilot opens, lowering the pressure on behind the valve. Then the main air tank's pressure pushes back the valve, opening the valve fully. This means that the air flow won't shut the valve like it would is a standard hammer valve. So, the question is, how to reset the valve.

The piston slides back and by doing so it resets the hammervalve.
The spring needs to be on the hammervalve-rod.
It will push both back into rest position.
There is a small hole in the pistonhousing for the pressure to refill the pilot area.
It's all been done before, just not in this configuration.
I simply relocated all the parts into a tight package.
