I agree with professor, i think that from here on out today is/should be known as Steve-o day, and if anybody disagrees, on your knees and say 10 hail crikeys.

I agree, it does suck, I made a topic about it at spudtech and theopia, just incase those people don't hear it on the news, and also to spike some more disscussion too.

That really stinks he was so cool :( .i figured it would be a crocidile or snake or somthing not a stingray :( Being hit by an astroid would be a pretty sweet way to go

NEWS UPDATE!!!!!!!!

as he was filming for his daughter "bindi" when he got stung, his death was also filmed.it has been given to the aussie police and shows a bullraye whipping at his chest and steve pulling the "barb" out of his chest and blood pouring into the water. police say people may never see this video,discovery says they are trying to get hold of it but will heavily edit the video. Lets just wait till it gets onto youtube or googlevideo otherwise i doubt we will ever see it.

Yeah he was killed just near where I live and I've never had any problems with stingrays before but being his nature and all to get really up close handling them I'm not overly surprised it attacked, they say he would of been okay but it was extremely unfourtunate that it got him right in the heart.

Steve was one of us in a way, a risk taker , I wonder if he had a spud gun?
If not ,then well he should have,it fits his personality.
