They have simple NPT threads on them, no big deal to adapt them to a cannon. And they have a bigger area for the disc to grip, instead of simply slipping out, the discs burst.

Well I don't have much room to add anything though, unless I remove the 2" pipe from the 4"x2" adapter. But that may compromise the strength of the fitting. Or i can leave the union and it will simply remain vestigial on my cannon. And that would be easier because I have 2" female npt after teh union.
Oh it doesn't matter, I tooke the gun to 6x and and my chamber grenaded and sent a piece of pvc into my pet giraffe killing it instantly.
APRIL FOOLS
haha ew.
but I don't have my ignition ATM so no testing for awhile.

Come on! PETN! Get an assload of 2-liter bottles and cut an assload of 2.25" discs (for 2" union), you couldnt ask for a better burst disc. They have smooth surfaces so they seal well, and they dont actually burst, they slip out of the union when the fuel ignites, which means you are getting the most out of your shot.
Nice hybrid though, great job. I do recommend some hearing protection though lol, I have personally lost a portion of my hearing from F'ing around with hybrids

.
Whoever suggested the GB thing~ Good thing to do. Nothing shows off a hybrid's grit better than GBs.

poster board holds about 50-60psi and its very cheap and you can make 100 burst disks for around $1

Yeah, but you shoulder fire the damn things!
Don't know how I missed this Frank, but it looks good! Glad to see that the barrel didn't go to waste.

Thanks BC, and as for using soda bottles, I have considered it, but I don't nearly have enough motivation to get dressed and buy some soda.
Plus my ignition is on vacation with some stupid friends.
So I'll try soda bottles next weekend.
