ive been using the rubber ones on my copper QEV...and i just teasted it to 250psi and the rubber tore leaving one half of the valve in the gun and the other half the other side of my garden so only use the rubber car types under 10bar;)

yer lol i always seem to look at the pressure ratings after something fails :roll:

i looked at the website of the manufacturer and said

"for use under 60 pounds per square inch"

i had it at 260psi and it nearly went through my hand :shock: (it missed though)

it didn't though so just be warned if your using the rubber pop in valves without reinforcement (epoxy ect)

TBH it was stupid and i wouldent even trust them with epoxy;) im getting some metal ones in the next week

Nobody's ever thought of simply shaving them down a little and clamping in a 1/2" compression nut? 8) :wink:

its a pitty 1/2ich compresion fittings are like hens teethe in the uk:(

No worry. Just measure the closest size to it, (1/2" = ~12.5-13mm), and use the same principle.

I just bought on off mcmaster and it was $1.93.
That seems a little more reasonable.
